ANZSNM NZ Branch Meeting 2020

Wikipedia tells us that 2020 will be heavily defined by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to severe global social and economic disruption including an economic recession.

The New Zealand Nuclear Medicine community have adapted in the face of the pandemic and have shown resilience with that great Kiwi “can do” attitude.  The NZ branch meeting gives us the opportunity to take time out to Connect with colleagues, gain Knowledge from our speakers and be Prospective over what the future holds for MI in NZ.

We have some great invited speakers, presenting on a variety of topics.  From brain research using PET/CT, to speaking up for radiation safety, we will offer our branch meeting face to face in Wellington, or if you would prefer via a virtual meeting. 

The virtual platform gives those interested outside NZ the opportunity to join us with ease. 

Q&A is a key aspect to learning, so we will have the opportunity to connect with our speakers at the end of each presentation.

We thank our company collaborators for their continued support of the New Zealand Branch of the ANZSNM.  Presentations from GE and Siemens will be incorporated into our program. 

The 2020 AGM will be held via Zoom Meeting prior to the Branch Meeting - the date is to be confirmed.
