PAYMENT
Payment can be made on invoice by direct credit (account details will be included on your invoice), or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). From 8 June 2026, you will be required to pay by credit card during the online registration process. Credit card statements will show debit as Outshine Ltd and incur a 2% processing fee. All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include GST of 15%. Credit card payments are processed via Windcave which is a Level 1 Service Provider and is compliant to PCI DSS Version 3.2. Confirmation and a tax invoice will be sent via email upon receipt of your online registration.
If your organisation is paying your registration fee and has specific billing requirements, it is the delegates’ responsibility to provide these details during registration. Invoices that fail to meet the organisation's payment policy due to incorrect or incomplete information will not be reissued. The delegate would then be responsible for arranging payment directly and seeking reimbursement from their organisation.
CONFERENCE CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations or registration changes must be made in writing to the Conference Managers at fiona@outshine.co.nz.
Cancellations made on or before 7 June 2026, will be refunded less $100.00 NZD to cover administration costs. No registration refunds for full cancellations will be made after this date, and refunds for tickets to the social functions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. You may elect to transfer your registration to a colleague, in which case please contact the Conference Manager to arrange.
If for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the conference is cancelled outright, the registration fees will be refunded less fees incurred.
WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made prior to 7 June 2026 will be refunded less $100.00 NZD to cover administration costs. No registration refunds for cancellations will be made after this date, unless your place is filled by a delegate on our waiting list, in which case you will receive a refund less $100 NZD. Should the workshop be cancelled, it will not be delivered as a virtual event, and a refund will be provided less the cost of administration fees.
REGISTRATION CATEGORY
It is expected that you accurately select the appropriate category during registration. During the standard registration review process, you may be contacted to request proof of chosen registration type. If requested, evidence must be provided within 7 days; failure to do so will result in an automatic update of your registration category, and you will be required to pay the difference in fees. Membership status will be verified directly with ASUM as part of this process.
DELEGATE LIST
Personal information is collected on behalf of ASUM. A delegate list will be produced for the conference including name, organisation, email address, region/state and country. It will be distributed to conference attendees, sponsors and exhibitors and provided to future organisers of the ASUMNZ Conference. This list will not be provided by ASUM to any other third party. Should you not wish your details to be included on the list please indicate during the registration process.
ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATES
Attendance certificates are only provided to individuals registered under delegate categories. Healthcare industry and exhibitor registrations do not qualify for certificates of attendance.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY DISCLAIMER
ASUM may film and photograph the event. Registrants consent to being filmed or photographed by ASUM (or its representatives) and to ASUM using the Registrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in such photographs or films for the purpose of promoting our events, services and products. No remuneration is payable for such use.
PROGRAM
ASUM and the organising committee reserves the right the modify the program at any time.
CONFERENCE PRESENTATION CONTENT
The information presented at the conference is intended for healthcare professionals, and by registering to attend you agree that the presentation content is for educational and informational purposes. Presentation content is developed by each speaker, and the Speaker is solely responsible and liable for the accuracy, completeness and currency of, and the originality of, the content and information which remains the intellectual property and responsibility of the speaker. ASUM does not assess, check, confirm, guarantee, endorse or verity the content of any Speaker’s presentation.
ATTENDANCE AT CONFERENCE
The information presented at the conference is intended for healthcare professionals and can include confronting images which are not appropriate for persons under 18 years of age. ASUM asks that Registrants conduct themselves in a professional and respectful way at all Events. If concerns arise regarding behaviour, ASUM may take steps as needed, including declining entry or requesting that a Registrant depart.
INSURANCE
ASUM and the Conference Managers will not accept any liability for losses associated with the conference. Delegates are advised to arrange their own comprehensive travel and medical insurance, including insurance for personal possessions and financial loss due to cancellation or postponement of the conference.
HEALTH & SAFETY
The Conference Managers, in conjunction with ASUM and the conference venue, are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy conference environment for all attendees, and to providing the information needed to achieve this. The Conference Managers, in conjunction with the ASUM and the conference venue, will take responsibility for providing health and safety procedures whilst at the conference venue. However, all conference attendees need to be aware of their own responsibilities. Any activities undertaken during personal or leisure time are entirely at the discretion and risk of the individual delegate. The Organisers accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during such personal activities.
Each conference attendee is encouraged to play a vital and responsible role in maintaining a safe and healthy conference environment through:
• Listening to the health and safety briefing onsite and/or;
• Reading the health and safety procedure document provided in-person at the registration desk.
• Ensuring all accidents and incidents that occur onsite at the conference are reported.
• Informing the Conference Managers, a member of the ASUM Events team or a staff member at the Conference Venue immediately of any health and safety concerns.
• Respecting your own personal safety and that of other conference delegates and employees.
• Stay home if you are unwell, and advise the Conference Managers.
• Follow all venue and public health guidelines and regulations.

We require consent to process your data. This includes the collection, storage and use of your personal information to manage event registration, communication and participation. It may also involve capturing details from partial registrations to ensure we can follow up and assist you with completing your registration. Our data practices comply with the Privacy Act 2020 and incorporate upcoming changes under the Privacy Amendment Act 2025, which takes effect on 1 May 2026.
