NZDSI Annual conference 2026

We’re delighted to welcome you to the official website of the New Zealand Dermatological Society Incorporated (NZDSI) Annual Conference 2026, which will be held at the Claudelands Event Centre in Hamilton.

Set in the heart of the Waikato, Hamilton offers an exciting and accessible destination for this year’s conference. We’re currently putting together a fantastic scientific program, and are thrilled to announce our confirmed international keynote speaker: Professor April Armstrong, Chief of Dermatology at the University of California, a global leader in dermatology research and clinical innovation.

Getting to Hamilton has never been easier — the city now enjoys direct international flights from Sydney and the Gold Coast, as well as direct domestic connections from Christchurch and Wellington. The Christchurch route is now serviced by the larger A320 aircraft, making travel more comfortable and convenient for attendees from the South Island.

Beyond the conference, Waikato is home to some of New Zealand’s most iconic experiences. Explore the magical world of Hobbiton, wander the award-winning Hamilton Gardens, or adventure through the amazing Waitomo Caves — all just a short drive from the city.
