I’ve been working as a privacy adviser for the past 15 years in both the public and private sectors and predominantly in health. Prior to my life in privacy, I worked as a lawyer in areas including mental health and domestic violence law.  So, throughout my career I’ve been involved in collecting and using very personal and sensitive information from and for my clients.  That experience has helped shape the way I now practically guide others on how to get privacy right: with an emphasis on values as much as compliance.
